Stateless,

A people with no home.

We all desire to belong in our hearts,

To a land, a group, a family.

The truth is we are all brothers and sisters of Mother Earth.

But difference has made us orphans,

Disconnected.

Why is every Refugee boat,

Not viewed as a Mayflower?

Why are they welcomed,

But we are met with War, blood, tears?

We cry, we bleed, we scream, we fear.

Why are we forgotten?

We are told “go home”.

But where is, 

Home?

When will love transcend borders?
